Glad to run into this feature! I've always had to utilize sunrise / sunset in some place away from my home.

Information technology always seemed to go also dark earlier the "official" sunset fourth dimension to switch on my lights.

I had tried to combine conditions events, cloudy, rainy or snowy to create a a sunset offset to turn lights on earlier when the sunday was obscured by the conditions. I had used an effective menstruum an hour or so prior to dusk and I ended up having to piece of work with Tuya tech back up. Despite the fact that I was using proper and obvious settings in Smart Life, tech support in so many words fabricated it obvious that the app doesn't support its own settings. There was no way to get Smart Life to achieve what I was trying to do!

Does it piece of work for y'all guys? Mine does t activate if I chose those triggers, merely the sunset I used before worked fine...

I know this is a super late response simply I merely was googling. I've been having bug with them not coming on. Going to run across if tomorrow they do work at normal settings without prior time

I got the smartplug manufacturer involved and they had me try using their season of Smart Life which was no amend. They finally gave me a refund for the three smartplugs I was using and they told me to merely keep them.

The kickoff nighttime I ready my lights to come on 15 minutes before sunset and off 15 minutes later on sunrise. Everything worked perfectly.

The adjacent nighttime they didn't come on. I had to manually turn them on. The following morning time they turned off per the schedule.

I added 2 more than scenes: ane for exact sunset and some other for 7:15pm - for different switches. I'll check to meet which activates tonight. I really wanted these for Dusk to Sunrise characteristic.

Any luck? My sunset doesn't work. Sunrise does though

Saw this after a recent update and was completely stoked. We live on a very wooded lot and I'd been wanting to be able to take the lights come up on an hr or two before dusk.

information technology worked once and stopped. I've tried deleting the automation and rebuilding it, but no joy:-( Would dearest to hear if anyone else has figured it out.

The standard sunrise and dusk options work fine, simply not the offsets.

Thats strange, mine has been working everyday since the new showtime characteristic was released. Information technology might depend on the device? Not 100% sure. The best bet would exist to submit feedback through the app to the developers, explaining that the start didn't trigger. They might ask for debug file, they tend to reply in a day or so.

I have these, and they have been working great with the sunset/sunrise offset pick.
